Single-Slot Serial Cradle

Symbol offers a 33.6 bps (V.34) single-slot modem cradle for remote synchronization over dial-up phone lines. The modem cradle is configured with dual RJ11 phone jacks to accommodate an external phone and an RJ45 jack for serial connection to a host computer. The modem cradle also has an RJ45 serial connection that enables it to double as a serial cradle. Users choose the operating mode via the Modem Sync/Serial Sync selector switch. The modem cradle is designed for use on a countertop or mounted on a wall.
